Suraya is a Guatemalan-American with a diverse background in the arts, media, and exploration of consciousness and spirituality. Her eclectic trajectory began as a professional ballet dancer, followed by her launching of a successful New Age music Label, writing scripts for Oscar-winning producers, and the production of infomercials. She just received her first patent for a head-support invention that pertains to head, neck, and face surgeries, as well as vertigo and wrinkle prevention, that will be out in the market soon. Her passion for seeking understanding of Existence itself started her on a path of meditation since she was thirteen; hence, in her extensive travels, she has always sought out the great wisdom keepers and healers of different cultures. She has traveled to 39 countries. 

This journey to understand existence led her to a great awakening that is most likened to what the Hindus call a “Kundalini Awakening.” So magnificent and revelatory was this Kundalini Awakening that she wrote a book about her experience called “God and the Evolution of Orgasm.” This was the first book published in a 4-book series already completed. She has lectured at UCLA regarding spiritual leaders and shamanism and has spoken on countless retreats and workshops sharing the benefits of different meditation practices and truth about Kundalini Awakening.

Suraya is Fluent in Spanish and English. Her other interests are nutrition, horse polo and jumping, hiking, skiing, song writing, and dancing. Other soul-searching interests have included volunteering at the VA Hospital in Westwood California at the bedside of dying patients through a program called “Compassion In Action.” Suraya is currently working on putting together a fundraiser for two organizations that save and prevent children from the sex slave trade: O.U.R. and Thorn.
